Thank you for the opportunity to remember my Mum by planting a tree….the gentleman there from the council helping was the most caring and helpful council worker I have ever come across.  Nothing was a trouble for him and he was only too happy to help...a thoroughly charming and beautiful human being. Thanks again and congratulations on the wonderful work that you do and thank you for making it possible to remember Mum in such a special way.

Locations

The following sites will hold public tree plantings on Mother’s Day. Native trees and plants will be provided for planting. For most sites, pre-registration is not required. Simply turn up to your preferred location on Mother's Day, Sunday May 11 between 9am - 12noon to plant your tree. Please see specific site pages for details as registration requirements and planting times may vary.

We recommend that you wear long trousers, a long sleeve shirt and closed-toe shoes. A hat and sunscreen will protect you in the sun and gloves can come in handy when planting. You may like to bring your own trowel or spade, however a selection of tools will be provided.

If you can't get to one of our public tree plantings, simply plant a native tree or native flowers in your own garden. Or find out how to organise a Trees for Mum planting in your local community.
